Hager Paving is currently accepting all applications, and will keep Employment Applications on file for one year. At this time, we have filled all driver and laborer positions, however, if you would like to be considered for any upcoming positions that become available, we want to hear from you! Applicants interested in full time-seasonal work must be team-oriented, hardworking, and a self-motivated individual; experience in asphalt paving is preferred, but not necessary.

We are currently seeking an individual with acquired knowledge and experience in the field of asphalt sealcoating to join our sealcoating team:


-ASPHALT SEAL COATING TECHNICIAN, We are seeking a technician who has experience with the methods necessary for the proper application of sealcoating material, has the capability to work in a team setting, and in a variety of weather conditions; has effective communication skills to speak with co-workers, customers and the general public in a courteous, professional manner at all times. Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: cleaning and preparation of pavement surfaces, such as brooming, shoveling and raking; crack filling, the application of sealcoating material using a long handled squeegee and/or spray wand to driveways and parking lots; preparing and maintaining necessary equipment; also, perform other duties as assigned. The successful applicant must have great attention to detail regarding final appearance. Job type: Seasonal. Sealcoating is very weather dependent and the sealcoating crew works from approximately May through September - applicant must be flexible with hours and the days worked, as weather permits.

General Requirements:
o Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
o Be dependable and in good physical condition
o Be available to work flexible hours and days
o Be self-motivated and punctual
o Possess the ability to operate and maintain equipment as instructed
o Focus on safety and quality
o Possess a valid driver's license and cell phone
o Follow all of company's safety policies and procedures


- CLASS A CDL DRIVER, for triaxle dump. Driver must have a valid CDL and DOT Medical Certification. Must have a good safety record, clean MVR and stable work history. Familiarity with area and good communication skills are an asset. Must have no violations of DOT drug and alcohol requirements and no violations of the following within the preceding 36 month period:
1) DUI or reckless driving in any motor vehicle,
2) License suspension or revocation for more than 30 days, or
3) Conviction of an "at-fault" accident.

-GENERAL LABORER. Responsible for performing tasks involving physical abilities; cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment; have some knowledge of related equipment, applicable safety principals, methods, and procedures specific to asphalt work; use of safety equipment and protective gear; possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Duties listed are not intended to be inclusive; there may be other duties that are essential to particular positions.
